Submit the withdrawal petition and an attachment that answers the following questions to the CENG Advising Center (40-111):

  1. What is your serious and compelling reason to withdraw?
  2. How did your situation change from the drop period until now? Your documentation should confirm this change.
  3. Are you passing this course?

In addition attach any documentation that supports your serious and compelling reasons.

It should be emphasized that poor grades, irregular attendance, or dissatisfaction with the course are not in themselves sufficient reasons for withdrawal approval.

The Advising Center will provide the advisor's signature (not required for term withdrawals).

The Advising Center will provide the department chair's signature (for College of Engineering courses only).

Until you have verified your form has been approved, you should continue to attend the course(s).

For more information on the withdrawal policy please see the Office of the Registrar's website.
