Cal Poly credit for courses taken abroad
Course substitutions for major courses are evaluated by the student’s department faculty exchange coordinator. Information on obtaining credit for GE courses is available from the General Education Program

Most universities offer courses taught in English
Check the overseas partner universities' web sites for more information.

Exchanges are arranged relatively easily with minimal red tape

must have a 2.5 overall Cal Poly grade point average and must be at least in their third year of study.

Students are not eligible for the exchange if he or she has been on Academic Probation the quarter prior to submitting the application. If the student goes on AP during the application process, the student will not be allowed to participate in the program.
