Engineering students pursuing minors are required to complete a minimum of 15 degree applicable units per quarter with the requisite number of major/support courses outlined under the Academic Expectations section of this website. Students wishing to take fewer than 19 units per quarter or students experiencing academic difficulty should not be pursuing minors.

Engineering students must begin minor coursework no later than their SOPH year since most minors require a minimum of six courses for the completion of the minor. Students cannot add a minor during their junior or senior years.
